I returned some time ago from a long drunken exhibition to the corners of Malton, where I saw very little and experienced even less. I return to you now equally as wise as I had left, half as informed, and ten times as drunken. My suit is freshened by the company of librarians, and I notice a disturbing lack of Anchormen.
Which brings me to my question. Where are my men? Where is the glorious army I left behind? The loss of Burgundy, the finest head of hair in Malton, dealt us a colossal morale blow, but with the help of the information minister I watched as the team held strong. A rag time group of investigative journalists scoured the scarred surface of this city and told it how it was! Now I have lost those men and women, and all contact along with them.
Are they alive? Is the news still flowing? Or should I petition for historical status for Channel 4? Has Burgundy's desk grown dusty in time? Has my desk? Has my haiku of times past finally come true? Brave men of the colossus, hear me. Where are my men?
Also, why do the malls only carry beer and wine? Where is a man to find some hard liquor in this god forsaken city? I've run out of Ivan's Best Vodka, and Burgundy's Finest Brandy is down to half a bottle. I fear the Khrushchev Surprise will soon follow in its footsteps. Help a comrade out.

The Rangers have always been the organization behind the colossus, and I have never had a doubt in my mind that you fine men and women would fight til Ragnarok itself.

Thank you, although I cannot personally lay claim to any of the glory that goes along with creating the NMC. I wasn't here, sadly. The thing that concerns me is that many of the groups that once comprised the colossus have been reduced to remnants. If any groups make the decision to petition for historical status, I would like to extend an offer of membership in the Rangers to any among their ranks who may wish to join our moveable feast of headshotting and drinking. We will keep their memories alive.
I too remember the old bygone days. Particularly the siege of the Blackmore. What worthy battles are there for an old News Team Reporter to fight?
I answered you in the conference room thread, and I'm about to send you a PM as well. Would be great to have another News Team reporter fighting alongside us and getting the word out to the survivor populace.

You could come with me to claim a necrotech to get running for a few days or until it gets dull, if you want. I feel more useful running revives for you guys right now than I do sitting in the fort.
I mean, everyone already know's we're going to win sooner or later, and the more of us there are alive, the quicker that happens.
