Howdy QSG, I'm Captain BoSS of the 41st DC and I wanted to stop by and say hello. One of my alts is presently following the Mall Tour '09 around and noticed that your library is still in shambles. Some of you might remember him, 41st DC BoSS, as he was a visitor for a week or so some time back. From this aforementioned visit, I recall you were having some trouble with a specific group of zeds. And I'm willing to bet that members of this group form the bulk of the zeds I found lurking inside the library earlier this week. I'm not sure what efforts you're presently putting into ridding yourselves of this nuisance, but it occurred to me that they'd be a great way for some of our newer members to XP farm as zed accounts. With your permission, I'd like to send either new alts, novice members, or really any of our forces that want to get XP, to the library to attack the hostile forces there. They will attack until they AP out, die, and then return as zeds to continue the fight. This would prove enormously annoying for your squatters, while allowing members of the 41st DC easy XP. I'm asking because these forces, specifically in zed form, will prevent you from eradicating the hostiles and repairing the building - at least without having to kill the friendly zeds in the process. If you approve, as our members volunteer to take part I will provide their id # so they can be added to contact lists (as it stands now I already have one volunteer). Likewise, if you have the id#s of the hostile zeds so our members could add them to their contact lists, that would be appreciated. Should you ever need assistance to retake the library with an en masse attack, let us know and I'll try to wrangle up some forces to assist you. I know Sir Fred and Mrh Me have both provided FAKs and general assistance to us in the past - we'd like to return the favor. -BoSS forums - 41stdeathcom.proboards50.com/wiki - wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/41stDeathCom

Golly gee that would be great . I do miss the Quartly but we were becoming warriors instead of the literary bunch we started out to be... for all of Malton. Hence we started on tour ...It does seem ironic that the place dedicated to a more peaceful and integrated Malton seems to be the one with the most conflict right now. So anything you can do to restore the status quo of the library ,please do so . Nice to know we still have a' friends of the library' bunch who has an interest in preserving objects and in deciphering art during this apocalypse as well as the preservation of the library for intellectual jousting with informative lectures. Good luck and I hope the zerger hasn't destroyed the maps Burgandy left for safe keeping down in the Rare books section. Supposedly they document his fabled caches of scotch through out Malton including a large one in Riddleybank.

My alt is already on site and annoying the zerger. Several other volunteers are also on the way. I will post ID#s when I gain them. Threads have also been posted on the US Army Infantry, ACC, and LooseCannons forums - so hopefully there will be an overwhelming survivor response. I will update you as I know more, thank you for the first batch of ID#s.
Hope your tour is going well!

The ACC will be joining our efforts shortly, this is a message from SaulKD (their commanding officer):
"If there is a mass zerg attack within a day or so walk of here I'm not sure that we can, in good conscience, ignore it. It is incumbent upon all true UD players, survivor or zombie, to seek out and destroy all zergers no matter where they are found or who they fight for. They are a threat to our game and their very presence has helped to cheapen those victories and defeats which should have been cherished as battles well fought.
We are sending someone to examine the problem. If he confirms the presence of a zerger we will be sending our Special forces. They are few in number but they all have maxed skills and are very experienced players."
Looks like we'll be recovering your home shortly!

Congratulations, the library has been restored to survivor hands! Two of mine are now outside standing as zeds, but other survivors have recovered the building and caded it to EHB++. We will remain here in an attempt to disrupt the zerger's efforts to regain control of the building. I will update you further tomorrow.

Astounding, it is a true honor to have you and your men helping us in our time of darkness. The three-as-one zombie occupants are BillGiggles, EmptyGrave, and the fake QSG member Wigglytuff. They are likely to hang around, and I'd be delighted if you hung around too, how do they say... farm our zerg exp. Yet again, I am overwhelmed with appreciation for your heroism.

Just to warn you gents, the library has been broken into. 1 standing Zed was inside when I checked. My character AP'd out when I went outside (so you can still rebarricade as there is only 1 inside). I'm sorry to say that I could not offer more support. I'll update the thread on our forum so the other participants can concentrate on removing the zed inside/protecting your forces.
The ACC has not provided an ID# so keep an eye out for any of their forces, I want to make sure we know what side everyone is on. When the situation is more stable the 41st DC will most likely occupy an adjacent structure to the QSG. Do you know of any available/unclaimed places we could call home?
Anyhow, good luck and happy hunting!

Good afternoon to you fine ladies and gentlemen of the QSG. Captain BoSS here dropped by our forums with his proposition and so, as he has already mentioned, we've taken it upon ourselves to lend a hand against these zergers. My team should be over there very soon to help keep the library secure.

Break in again, hope someone catches it in time. As of right now, there are two standing zeds inside and one dead body. I attacked one of the zeds down to 32 HP, hope that helps. Secondly, I caught three of the suspected zerger accounts standing up at once. Highly suspicious. Glad to have the ACC with us Colonel Myo, we appreciate your help! I saw your boys inside - they look like bruisers!

Hoorah! Thank you for all for coming to the library and helping out with these, our most humorless guests. As literates, we have much experience with shelving books and researching antiquaries... but when it comes to laying down unholy warfare upon zergs/griefers, even we need a little support from the military. Thanks again guys, uncommon foes like this need uncommon warriors. edit: there's a wiki-template for the combatants. template:Battle of the Quartly zergs

Wiggly is at it again, the cades are up, but I'm not sure for how long. Between last night and today there were two more episodes of all the zeds standing/working in unison. Is there a zerger list anywhere that could draw a greater force down on his head - bounty hunters maybe? Also - I have thrown a request to the ACC to contact their allies and invite them to the Quartly. I'd like to see if we can wrangle some more survivors on over to the siege. We can never have too big of a party, especially with a zerger involved, and in my opinion - Wigglytuff still has far too much AP freedom.

Message from Josh Clark of the Cannonball Crew:
Neither are members of the Cannonball Crew or Loose Cannons proper, but any survivor assistance is appreciated. Be sure to add them to your contact lists for priority revives and heals.
Still waiting on word from the US Army Infantry, we'll see if they send any support. I have yet to go around and update the Loose Cannons/USAI forums with current intel, however I have been on top of things with the ACC as they're actively participating.
Keep on fighting the good fight!
EDIT: after further review I realized that those are alternate accounts of CC and LC, which is rather heartening. This ought to turn into quite a blow out for poor wiggly.

I'll cade, and heal, and Revive when I am not shooting the enemy. My friend Sgt. Stone should be by to help out too. He has been busy in RL at his job, but he is coming.

Reporting another break in. 3 standing zeds inside, I bit one down to 40 hp. There is also one dead body on the ground. Doors are wide open... probably a bit drafty with all the rows of books and such I would think.
Garth is a new alt of one of the 41st DCers, so no worries there.
I saw you inside Dicki, stick it too 'em will ya?
All of the zerger's known characters are on the ground, but there is still a large horde outside. Would someone with DNA scanning ID as many of them as possible? I want to add each of them to my contact list and see what we're dealing with. Keeping friendly fire attacks to a minimum (as well as maximizing damage against the more dangerous foes) is tantamount to success in this operation. Thanks!
