So as usual, I'm making a comeback. Now I know I've tried on mutilple occasions to get back into UD, and if anyone still remebers the good olde days, you know I loved this game. Well this is it, Come hell or highwater I am here to stay. I am going to recreate the Corleone Family and anyone is welcome to join. With some work we can get this NMC back in a solid working order to were it was in the old days. So I pose a question? What groups are still here and most importantly, Who's leading this mob?

I haven't been back long enough to even know who all is still around. Harrison seems to be semi-here, but as for the Mossad...The QSG is alive and kicking, but some zergers have been trashing it. Rangers? Judging by board activity, things are not lookin so hot.

Rangers are still going strong, we're just hiding in the Clandestine Corner. As for who's leading us, I think we're all following the cat with a cookie tied to its tail. Cookie cookie cookie cookie...

Then lets get this thing back in order, Someone set up a new subforum entitled "New Happenings" Anyone who wants to get a high power position in the Corleone Family join now, we're taking this one to the house. How are those crazy newscasters? Get them off their drunk asses and tell them we're back. Any smaller groups are welcome and Alumni get bonuses. What we really need is a mall or a fort to take back, somthing to rally the troops and send a statement that the NMC is still here. Most importantly Recruit as much as you can, we need the members.
Hows Blesley Mall sound, a suburb north of scarlettown (Any angels left?) and seems to been not that full, (1-2 zps last report) If we get a large enough force it seems feisable. By the way rangers, I'd change the Conrner's passsword, I used one Wulfgar gave me forever ago and it worked, don't worry the secert is safe with me.

umm vito if you want me to set you up with a board thats no problem. PM me all the info you want and how you wanted it worded.
it is nice to see you again. and you seem to be using spell check.. so ROCK ON! and yeah for now i guess i'm in charge. till wulgar come back or if something else melts down.
as for groups on here i think the rangers and the Qsg are just about all thats left. a few C4NT are left but thats just because they have alts in the rangers or the QSG.
burb.

Ron would be so disappointed...

Ron doesn't do disappointed, he goes straight to despair.
But don't write off the News Team so easily, we're still out there reporting the truth as we see it. Currently we're heading down south to interview some A-List players, then back to Beaver Towers, corporate HQ, for a bit of cleaning and grooming.
It was never going to be the same without Ron, but we're still classy as hell!
But it's true, a few of us do have alts in the QSG and Rangers

Alright, well in my opinion, I think a good rallying point would be a mall that's lowly populated by zombies were we could set up shop. I think we can do it, we the sheer amount of experience we have we could pull it off.

You have my tarnished word on this one sexual, as battered as it is. I really missed the fun of this game. It wasen't until my friends whom I have a Tf2 clan with were talking about left for dead that I realized that why would I want to play another shooter when I had some of the most fun ever playing an awesome text zombie MMO? The game may have changed, so it's time I get with the times and try to help steer this ship of an alliance that I helped found back on it's course. Were we once great? Yes! Can we be that great again? If we try, I think we can.

Remember though game mechanics have changed a lot. Sieges are starting to become a thing of the past with a combination of zed metagaming and the barricade blocking abilities of zeds.

Ohh! I'm pretty rusty at this, but give me a fire axe and a mall and I'll get back into it soon enough. As for sieges, it seems to me we gotta go for guerrilla warfare or get enough people that it dosen't matter if they try to take out the 'cades. We gotta move with the times or fall behind my friends. Those of you I do know, I know you're really effective leaders unlike me, but if we put our combined heads together, we can work out a plan that will work.

Just a quick excerpt from a conversation I had with an old NMC member that I thought was relevant to the current topic. I was frustrated at the person at the time so the language is kind of harsh. We aren't trying to make the suburbs green, we're establishing a foothold for the local survivors who then can make the suburbs green themselves. We're a nomadic group now. Yes, we enjoy a siege here and there but the game has changed and the Rangers have changed with it. The recent updates make sieges useless against an organized group of zombies unless the survivors are more organized. Don't think we're just a group of folks playing hero. We know what we're doing. Do you think Ackland would have held if you couldn't 'cade behind the break-ins to keep out the ferals? I really doubt it. Unless you can get a large group to log on to take out the zombies and recade quickly, a very difficult task for people with jobs/school/real life issues to do, the corner and the rest of the mall will fall. With a break-in of 35 zombies, this would be damn near impossible.
