Check this out
I'm going to type -jesus- below this line
JESUS
Now I'm going to type -dane cook- below this one
DANE COOK
It appears that, as an admin, I can change words into other words... we need to start a discussion about how best to use this power post your suggestions below!

I don't quite understand what you're saying... And you can't even make people mods of their subforum! Some god!

wait, wait, wait... did I screw that up again!?!
Here's what I'm saying: As an Admin, I can censor certain words, and replace them with other words... now, normally, an Admin would use this power for good and replace hurtful language with nicer stuff...however, being the free speech guru that I am, I think it'd be more fun to replace uncommon words that may come up in future discussions with different words... I'll of course consider other fun suggestions...
now, as for your forum thingy.....

now, as for your forum thingy..... I'm already a mod and feth, it's just that Ron had to wander over to do it. Anyway, can you censor all instances of a word? Like, if someone types, 'insurgent' anywhere on the forum, it'll show up as 'freedom fighter' if you want?

yep... I could also change "Ketchup" to "Mustard", "Black" to "White" or "Kari Byron" as "the hottest woman ever".

*tests it by typing Jesus*
EDIT: Is it only Jesus 2, the revenge of Jesus? -jesus-?
EDIT2: Oh, it's lowercase 'Jesus'! Scary! Censorship!

Can we change all misspelled words into the right thing?

Oh jesus... This will make this place even harder to get, right? Can't you change every bad word to random, or something like that? "You random random!" ;D

actually, I wasn't the first to realize this Mr. Burgundy apparently changed several somewhat uncommon words into one very offensive one...I'll leave it to you to discover which one. (hint, they sound alike)
EDIT: Using a seperate function, I could disable the ability to censor whole words and turn every instance of the letter "A" to "Elephant". that way, whenever anyone wanted to type "America", it would look like this: Elephantmericelephant
