Speaking of, while you're drinking with that fine lad that dealt you your opium, see if the gumshoe fits him.
Overall though, not much to report. Many people are shouting that we have a Third Battle of Blackmore on our hands, however. Exciting times.

If this lasts for another week or so, I'd say we do. Might this be enough to drag the BBB wiki page out of the historical archive?
Oh, and just so everyone knows, I'm hanging around Blackmore with my Alt, Killian Drakkar.

If this lasts for another week or so, I'd say we do. Might this be enough to drag the BBB wiki page out of the historical archive? Oh, and just so everyone knows, I'm hanging around Blackmore with my Alt, Killian Drakkar. I'm generally okay leaving the BBB wiki page historical, if only to save us the ungodly drama of "OMG, the awesomely funny page should be made boring because the wiki of a fictional city in an online video game MUST follow the rules of encyclopediac neutrality!!1eleven!!" we went through the LAST time some jackass decided to take an interest in it. That particular wiki drama deserves its own page as one of the Battles of Blackmore, if you ask me... If people want to rant about how the Bastards don't exist anymore, I say let them. It's hard to crow about how badass your group is if you're getting barricaded out of your homeland by a group that's supposedly extinct (albeit with a helluva lot of help from other groups). The right people know we're still around, and we don't use the wiki to recruit new members. The historical page says it all - if you're fighting and dying in the Blackmore, you're already a Bastard, so feel free to wear the Spade, if you want.

You guys seen these new rules? I'm worried that this might spell the end of the Third Battle of Blackmore before it begins...

Heh, I suppose. But most people seem to be referring to it as the third...
::shrug:: I dunno, we'll see what happens.

Third official, apparently.
Anyway, I've gone down to Nichols to resupply... I'm not sure how much longer the GDA is going to be in the area.

Hey, the RRF trashed the pirate party at Moggridge! I was personally stabbed by their Papa: Now that's classy. And it's sorta old news, but oh well.

Northern Ridleybank is starting to look a bit like, well, like the Ridleybank we all know and love. On my brief scouting run today, I saw two hospitals, a factory, and a warehouse in the gray.
3rd? 5th? Every day is a new Battle of Blackmore!
Okay. Seriously, I've long since lost track of the "official count" of Blackmore battles, and most of the sieges don't even get wiki pages. As much as I enjoy the battles (and this one has been particularly interesting in that we took over the entire suburb), defending the Blackmore is kind of a love or hate experience. To some, we're heroic nutjobs who do this to prove we can and to take the heat off neighboring suburbs - you know, suburbs with *malls*. To others, we're trenchcoaters only interested in zombie-killing for the sake of zombie-killing. In truth, we run the gamut, and I don't care why a person is there as long as they're lending a hand in the siege.
Yes, even those newbs who revive Gore Corps or go outside to shoot zombies are welcome, as far as I'm concerned. Even 2 AP spent doing something of value is 2 AP I don't have to spend doing it. Though I really, really wish they'd stop reviving RRFers...

Gah, we've lost about half of the survivors in the building, and it doesn't help that we have idiots like Gideon Strain running around "bounty hunting" in the middle of a zombie break-in. Still, I'm optimistic, we are bastards after all.

Thank you to everyone who fought and bled with us during this siege. It didn't last as long as we'd hoped, but it was fun while it lasted. For a little while, there, survivors controlled Ridleybank. It's really too bad about the timing of the rule change. I was kind of hoping we'd beat the record of the first Battle of Blackmore. I enjoyed this battle of Blackmore, and I hope others who participated in it did, too (that goes for the zombies, as well).
I've left this siege with a *lot* of new names in my Contacts list, and I hope I'll see some of you around Malton.

Hip hip! We detectives are going northwest, to attempt to bring life back into a ghost town (and snag a few recruits along the way ). I'm quite certain our trail will lead us to Blackmore again someday.
