This is one of the few times I'll agree with sexualharrison in full,
we're doomed, but that's kinda the point...when you see zombie movies (good zombie movies) you don't see survivors safely whiling away the hours in their safehouses...you seem them constantly on the run, their numbers dropping daily, staunchly holding out against absolutely impossible odds.
This is why they've so filled the mythos of our society: Man endures despite certain death, and life goes on
