Heh, I killed an Elem on a lake recently with my DO. Anyway, I think the fact that their tier 3 skills aren't binding to your previous skills is a great thing. People get too caught up in that, but the fact is, you can go shooty, archer, hand to hand, melee, crafter, medic, it doesn't matter, you can't fuck it up. As for pets, I like the Hurricane and will probably get a Holocaust, too. I like your strategy, too, but eh, I'm going for unique here. Most Elems get Air and Water, not many rock pets, which is understandable, since they suck, anyway. Still, you have a good plan there, at least.
