Well, I went to the Louvre today, and while I didn't bother to go to the Mona Lisa (I've seen it 3 times before, and it's fething tiny) I can tell you that they don't have metal detectors there, just an x-ray machine for purses and bags and feth.
So one could, perhaps, go shoot at the Mona Lisa.
