Well, at least I can say this much: I don't allow continuous griefing of a single group (unless that group is completely filled with retards. You know, the kind we all just plain hate) Regular survivor groups, I like to think that the NMC falls into the category, will usually get our love at the most, for a month. Then we move on.
Even for those month+ long attacks, I always emphasize not griefing individuals. For example, during the Battle of Blackmore, I say Ron's name popping up on the Kill Report a lot, so I told everyone to lay off for a bit.
