People routinely assume I'm some mutant giant 15 year old. It's incredibly valuable in chess tourney's because my somewhat childish features and occasional enormous beard conspire to make everyone think I'm an abject moron.
However, it's a detriment in speech and debate and stage skills of any kind, no one's gonna trust a debator, magician, or actor who looks like that.
