Pfft! I spent all of middle and high school not being cool. Why would I expect college to be any different? Besides, you don't have to be cool to be an English major.

In fact, there was only one Cool class required at my liberal arts college, and it was a total blow-off class that met at 8am. The only way you could fail was by showing up regularly. I got a C, but I lost a lot of points for participating in discussions on those rare occasions when I showed up and for not missing the final exam due to a night of heavy drinking and then coming up with some sob story that might convince the prof to let me take the exam a couple weeks later.

I really didn't care about that grade, though. At least I didn't flunk like some of those engineering dweebs did. I can't imagine having to take that class twice during my college career. Yikes!
