A couple years ago. I'm about to go out and buy it again, 'cuz I lost mine. Right now though, my girlfriend is making me read these vampire-romance type novels. The series is called Twilight, by Stephanie Meyers. Not much ass kickage involved in the books though. Lots of lovey-romancey stuffs.
