Body-weight excercises are ok if you do them really fast, plyometrics. It raises your lactic acid resistance and is good an-aerobic excercise (good for the sprinting used in parkour). However for real gains you need to keep adding weight to see an progress
On a similair note i was doing deadlifts earlier and afterwards i sort started shaking, like my whole body. It stopped after a bit but still freaked me out
