Is this the cue for a moment of silence? Well, of course, this event will be associated with a lot of silence, so maybe not.
But no, that's always evil when that happens. The more irritating one though is when they start breaking and you don't have a spare, so you've got to deal with that infernal buzzing clicking sound in your ears all the time. It's like Chinese Water Torture.
