Hey Padre,
I was hoping you were still around.
The last year has had me wandering through Boston and then south through Texas and largely in Austin. Work has taken me to St. Petersburg FL, Seattle, and Chicago as well. Finally, after about ten months on the road I return home for a month or so before taking off again. It's been a long strange trip (apologies to Jerry Garcia). I've made many friends and a few enemies.
I've been back in Malton for a few weeks now, but didn't want to announce my return until I was sure I would be around for more than a week or two. I'm not back with quite the same frequency. A few days could go by without a login and my corpse will remain rotting outside the last safehouse that deemed it didn't want me as a member.
Most recently, during my weekend escapades I was invited to participate in a Civil War re-enactment down here in the Austin area. They deemed I had the look. It must have been the long hair. So I took up the Confederate cause for an afternoon. I was concerned about capture. No telling what the blue coats would do to a Yankee defector as I'm from Philadelphia. My interest was largely in photographing the event rather than participating. They allowed me to bring a camera onto the field hidden in a haversack. One I decided a Union musket shot did me in, I could fall in an inconspicuous location, take out my camera, and fire away. The experience was as bizarre as it sounds. Here I am in my Confederate best:

I'll try almost anything once.
Looks like the news team has had a few changes. Ron isn't as active as he once was. It happens to the best of us.
