What I really want to know is what you guys think about the pie! It's something of a specialty of mine, making up stories out of random instances: so: A) Pacer from the future will die soon (in the future), before he died, he wanted to have a pie, which reminded him of his childhood n' all B) Pacer built a time machine, but realized it couldn't take him back to a time before the critical component of the time machine was built (or after it's halflife expired), which turned out to be about a year before this incident. He also discovered that the timeline was fixed and immutable, so he bought a pie out of frusteration. C) The pie is a nonissue, Pacer came from the future so that Pacer in the past could realize a clever aspect of his future existance and create the worlds first time machine. D) Pacer in the future becomes an immortal time warrior, crossing time, space, and causality searching for the mythical "quintessence" , a powerful cosmic force inherant in random objects strewn throughout the cosmos. One happens to be in a pie in the past.
