You're all going about it the wrong way. The question isn't "Is this time traveller God", "Is such a person even possible", "What would this person exactly be like", "What's wrong with this postulation" or any other number of questions you came up with. The question is "How can we make this into a TV series that will utterly own Doctor Who and bring us millions of dollars/pounds/marks/euros/our choice of monetary units".
