As Murray tried to focus on the barricades with the chaos swirling around him, he noticed one zombie who seemed to be following him around just outside the barricades. At first Murray just told himself that if the zombie tried to go after him Melody would take care of it, but at one point he could have sworn that the zombie was looking at him right in the eye. Eventually the zombie cocked its head and slowly moaned "Marr-ah?"
Murray dropped his hammer out of surprise and looked over the barricade at the zombie. It was one of his old colleagues from the College. He went to the same academic conference as Murray, but had been one of the first to go. Murray dove back behind the cades and asked, "Does anyone have an NT syringe?"
