"Ah, hell, too close for the shotgun ..."
Melody drops her shotgun on the table, moving to the wall and taking down one of the "In Case of Undead" fire axes and swinging a few practice swings.
She advances from the rear of one of the deaders, taking aim, waiting until he bends down so she'll have the proper angle, and...
swwwwwwing! the flat side of the axe catches the shambling undead at the base of the skull, sending him sprawling. She quickly reverses the axe and sends the blade crunching through bone. "Yeah! That's how Rangers do it, dead boy!"
She leaves the axe buried in the dead thing's head, using it to drag the body towards the remains of the cades.
"Somebody chuck this thing out for me, would yah? I got the cades ..."
She begins piling the broken furniture haphazardly in the doorway.
