If everyone in a burb is too stupid to realize that spreading out is the worst way to stop a organized horde, they deserve to be beaten into a pulp and sent into outer space, just so they intelligent parts of the population that is left can at least gather into one place to be eaten together, since there won't be enough left to defend the place anyway...
