"This one came in just a few minutes ago." One of the attendings said, shoving a chart at Ivan. "Looks like he was bitten a few days ago. His flesh has shown around sixty hours of rot. He suffered a large head wound, most likely from a pistol of some kind, and has suffered quite a bit of brain damage."
"Ok." Ivan said, taking a deep breath. "No signs of brain rot, but significant physical damage..."
"Come on, you can do this." The attending said. "Here, hand me that syringe."
Ivan grabbed the nearby Necrotech syringe and handed it to the doctor, who proceeded to tap the needle and ensure proper flow.
"The basic Necrotech Revivification Syringe is a miraculous thing kid. It can bring a human back from the dead, restore brain function, and hell, even repair flesh. I'm not sure how it does it, but it does it, and I'm fine not knowing the specifics."
The doctor injected the zombie with the glistening serum, and Ivan watched as it took its effect. The skin was flushed with color as the heart once again began beating, pumping one stagnant blood through the man's veins. The head wound began to slowly mend itself, even to the extent of brain matter being slowly reformed.
"Amazing..." Ivan said, taking mental note of the changes. "Its a miracle."
"Its science." The doctor said. "Give the patient time to fully respond to the serum, and then treat his bite wound with basic first aid. If he gets to be in too much pain, give him a bit of morphine and let him sleep."
The doctor patted Ivan on the shoulder, and went on to the next patient. Ivan looked over the mans chart, and then took another glance at the man's wounds as they began to mend. The serum was nothing less than miraculous, and new hope revitalized his tired body. If anything had happened to his brother, there was no doubt in his mind that he, with the training Necrotech had been giving him, could bring him back from the dead.
