I know whenever there's a functioning radio transmitter in the building, it's used to antagonize any zombie listeners out there, and many zeds who get inside are taunted before being evicted. Mocking your opponent is good for the defenders' morale, and it's not like the zombies are eloquent enough to voice a coherent rebuttal. Well, unless you consider being singled out as a chew toy the next time some zeds slip through the 'cades a rebuttal...
