As for your concern for the forts, someone obviously gives to shits about it, as we've got a thread right here, (Which, I feel compelled to add, YOU felt the need to post on) most of us ain't in the forts.
Yeah, IBC, with his insatiable need to know things for posterity's sake. The only two LUEsers here. *I* only added my two cents because of our name being brought up.
Now, I'm not saying that the forts are some whopping indestructable monster,
With 500+ people standing around waiting to rush to the gatehouse in the event of a breach? They could be. No single group can take that out, if there's any sort of spine on display amongst the defenders.
My point being, LUE has no interest in the fort because what's going on there is just silly. There's a fuckton of people in there; it seems a lot of survivors would rather sit around the fort, run outside, cap the rare standing feral, and run back in. How that's fun is beyond me.
there is no ground in this city that survivors can hold forever, that's just how the game functions
All I'm saying is that they're pretty clearly superior to malls, and just DRIPPING with flavor besides...it's just good sense to hold 'em

They're not superior to Malls in the sense of scavenging (better search rates in Malls) and access to needles (most malls allow you to get to the NT a lot more readily). They're more defensible, sure, but sometimes you want to get OUT. Flavor? OK, it is what you make it ... I bet there's a shitload of firefighters and doctors and civilians hanging out in there, so, I doubt most of them are thinking about the place's flavor.
Anyway ...
There's 2 forts. That's 18 squares. If I had to guess, I'd say it is the opinion of pretty much all the game's organized hordes, that you can have 'em.
Forts have really been tilted in favor of survivors. And that's fine - they were really broke before. I don't care if there's a little bit of the map that blatantly favors survivors - I just think it's funny when they stack up in said places like cord-wood, then thump their chest about how we're 'afraid' to come get them there.
If every survivor in Creedy cleared out and went to Giddings, you could hold it indefinitely against any single zombie group in the game, including LUE.
If LUE came to Creedy, we'd get in, kill a bunch of people, and get thrown out. You'd never be able to stop us getting in (without resorting to majorly cheap tactics, that is), but we'd never chew through that mass of humanity enough to take the fort.
So why come and give trenchcoats some kind of false validation?
Keep your 18 blocks. We'll take the other 982 and keep making jokes about how you stack 9 survivors in one bunk.
