I wouldn't worry overmuch about low morale. My low point was after the Big Bash sacked Nichols Mall (back in July or August, iirc) and it took me two weeks to get a revive because literally 2/3 of Malton was in the Red and I was in the wake of that disaster. I was maxed out (except for the Rot) and sorely tempted to quit the game because of all the PKing on top of the predations of hungry zombie hordes.
The Blackmore Building has been lots of fun. There's always plenty to do - barricading, healing, shooting zeds, reviving, stocking up on supplies at the conveniently located mall, and trading quips over mugs of mead - and on those relatively rare occasions when the zombies drag my comatose body out to feed their young, the revives are much faster than I've come to expect of Malton.
Even when there are 30+ zeds milling around in the Blackmore Building, I don't fear death, because I know the rest of the BBB isn't going to panic and run for the hills like I've seen survivors do so many times in mall sieges. Even if I run out of AP, the barricades will be rebuilt, the zeds will be eliminated, the wounded will be healed, and the fallen will be revived. It just feels so...well-organized and fun.
I've spent several months undeclared, never finding a cause I was willing to fight for consistently. But from here on out, I'm a member of the Blackmore Bastard Brigade. Cheers!
EDIT: And they're chomping at the doors, again. I'm done for the night.
