It doesn't take a statistician to see that you're right, Priz. Even a maxed out zombie is going to take at least 13 AP to take down a starting zombie at full HP (assuming a 100% success rate on a 4 HP bite, which isn't possible), and that zombie is going to spend a maximum of 10 AP to stand up, afterward. It's a total waste of AP.
Nevertheless, the idea, however silly, amuses me on some level. It's bad strategy but amusing RPing. It would probably get crushingly dull, after a little while, though.
It's not so different from my zombie hit squad idea. Basically, we choose some poor newbie zombie without Lurching Gait or Ankle Grab and just hunt him relentlessly because he can't escape as quickly as we chase him. Metagame organization would be necessary to make sure the chase continues on. This one is mean-spirited but still fairly challenging, as tracking down anyone who keeps running away from you isn't exactly easy, in this game. For extra difficulty, tag one of the leaders of a zombie mob who is following a set path (such as the Big Bash or Mall Tour) and ZK him as much as possible. Technically, he can run, but he might not be inclined to do so because it would mean abandoning his mob. This is probably not the way to win zombie player friends, though, as it *is* a form of griefing. Also a complete waste of AP - minimum 15 AP to kill a zombie who can spend 1 AP to stand up.
