Attacking Ridleybank keeps the RRF in check. If they are busy defending their homeland they will be less willing to dedicate resources elsewhere. Sending zeds to siege malls or to attend the big bash will take a back seat to getting rid of a large human population.
If you've ever played starcraft, you probably already know the value of attacking an opponent's base. If you can overwhelm their defenses then they will call back their forces in order to prevent its destruction, no matter how far off they may be. The RRF is a proud bunch, and there's no way they'd tolerate the suburb turning yellow, or even dark-orange for an instant. That pride is also a weakness, which I feel we should exploit.
Even if they decide to send half their forces to attack and keep half to defend we are still succeeding in virtually halving their strength. This is vital as a mall stands a much better chance against 84 zeds rather than 168. The more we angles we can attack them from, the better.
