Does it really matter what server we connect to?
To set a nickname simply type "/nick Lothar_The_Warrior" (sans the quotes of course). You can't use spaces, not that I know of anyway. A nickname may be registered to another user, in which case you will have to think of a variant or new name altogether. Once you have a nick name which is not under use, type "/msg NickServ REGISTER password". This will reserve your nickname for you. To reposes your nickname when you login again type " /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password".
