I was in Nichols reprovisioning when the barricades broke last night. I've been trying to muster up the other corners and whet their appetite for Zombie blood since then. The good news is that the survivors in Nichols are a scrappy lot. I woke up this morning to see 30 zeds in the NE and in the past hour that number has shrunk to only a dozen. At this rate the mall should be clear and rebarricaded by noon. That doesn't mean Nichols couldn't use 10 or 15 more Bastards to Bastardize the barricades. The only problem will be making sure all the squares are garrisoned equally after that. MallRats are generally hesitant to stand in the most dangerous corner. If one or two of our more well known brethren at the Blackmore came down and started sermonizing on post-ransack mall defense tactics it would probably help.
The good news is that hordes don't generally get a break like this twice. Remember when the whats-their-names came to Blackmore with a massive coordinated pker assault and they took out 20 Bastards in an afternoon? We were all pretty worried then, but after the initial hit, and we started killing them they never summoned that level of coordination again.
