FAK's are the best thing, if you get online when an active zed is then you can cockblock them from a kill. i love doing that. its almost as great as cade strafing but in this case they crack the egg open and but it turns out the yoke wont die.
to be honest ammo searching isnt so bad with shopping + bargain hunting. fire arms are the best way if your power leveling like im doing in dulston(TURKEY SHOOT). with full gun slots im averaging a level and a half per day and lasts about 3 days.
but still 3 items i always carry: Axe, Crowbar, Flak Jacket.
