聞こえるや。ゾンビーの鳴り。積み直せ! I hear it! The zombie's cry. Reload! 友の脳くさってるんだ。さらば、友。 My friend's brain is rotten. Goodbye, friend.
On the subject of 5-7-5 vs. 7-5-7, there's no form that I know of that's 7-5-7, but it is acceptable to bend the rules and have haiku that are 5-8-5 or 5-7-6. And technically, kigo are necessary for a haiku to actually be a haiku, but so are a lot of things that almost no one pays attention to anymore, and haiku started out as an iconoclastic, chaotic form anyway, so I say pretty much anything goes.
