I've actually gone to a tool concert, stood on the balcony, and yelled "haha-tool!" for the better part of an hour...you know you have a messed up fanbase when such actions start a fight between people on the dance floor who
A) Think making fun of a band necessitates violent action
B) Are just trying to have a good time listening to something that sounds like slow, ritualized cat-strangling
C) Just want to hit something because they hate their parents
All the people I liked died 50 years ago
I read this and felt for a few seconds like worshiping you, then I realized you were at the Tool concert too.

does it change my image any if I was only at the concert to hear the opening band...
Of course, then I'd have to explain why I stayed...
So yeah...I stayed to make fun of the tools...
ah, I can't win.
Anyhow, to shift the focus to something we DID win, it looks like stickling is back up, and pretty darn safe. This means I'll be moving on at present.
In fact, speaking of moving on, this is probably a good place to announce my retirement.
I'll be leaving the forum forever, but will be replaced in exactly 10 days by someone who is exactly like me and plays the same characters...
By which I mean I'm going on a ski trip for ten days starting tomorrow.
