I think the NMC's official position is still against it, and personally, there's not a lot of times when using it is particularly useful...
but I've done the math, there are valid uses for this nifty combat trick, and passing them up just to get mowed down doesn't make a whole lot of sense...
obviously, the point of the game isn't to "Win" (which can't be done), but saying "You can't combat revive because it inconveniences us" is like saying "You can't sleep in ruined buildings because it adds another step to our already hectic day"
