Well, once someone revives you, you turn into a dead body, and thus you are invulnerable until you deliberately stand up. So I'm not sure what happened, but there is no way you can get revived and then killed without being able to do anything.
Anyway, congrats on what sounds like a nicer safehouse than the one I'm staying in.
