The Dead came in with the stated aim of breaking the game. They zerged like crazy and acted like asshats on the wiki and on any forums they came across. They're living proof of a certain well-supported internet theory. (Warning: that link may not be safe for work, but only if you work in a church or a daycare or some such.) A handful of them have actually become good players, but as a group they're a disgrace. Good zombie players don't want to break the game; we just want to show you a good time by busting down your cades, eating you, and hosting dance parties as we wreck the place. Don't even try to tell us you don't love it...if you didn't you'd be off playing Candyland or something.
Basically the Dead tried to take something we enjoy and upend it, and we didn't appreciate it. I do hope some of the better players in their ranks will stick around and get into the proper spirit of the game, however. I guess we'll see what happens there. I would like to see more dedicated zombie characters in the game, because to my mind Malton is more fun when the undead are everywhere and survival actually takes effort and attention. I don't like the way the Dead went about it, though. (The same goes for Extinction, another zombie group considered non-barhah by the RRF, the MOB, etc.)
