i was hoping if i could draw from the vast experience of the elders in nmc about my thoughts on the matter. please share your opinion about my humble thoughts :
pker = survivor killing another survivor, thus gains pleasure by making other survivor waste ap by finding revive point and waiting for revive + other tactical losses
bounty-hunter & pker lists = to discourage pkers from their act and making the pker "pay" for the inconsiderate act of inconveniencing another survivor
but
1. bounty hunters are few
2. pker lists are not complete + dispute about lists
3. troublesome to access all pker lists available
4. relatively easy for pker to get a revive if killed
as such, bounty-hunters and pker lists have a minimal effect on the widespread practice of pking.
my suggestion :
i presume that pkers need several days to stock up on ammunition before coming in for the kill, especially if only using loaded shotguns. they might spend a lot of ap hiding, then co-ordinating with other pkers to make an effective strike.
similarly, bounty hunters waste a lot of ap stocking up on ammunition and even more ap running around searching for those on the pker list.
on the other hand, reviving a person who was just pked takes less than a day's ap even if you count the ap it takes to walk to a nt, find a syringe, walk out to revive and come back indoors. often, the process is streamlined if you carry several syringes.
to counteract the pleasure of pking --> all bounty hunters should become full-time revivers. with more revivers, there is less waiting time at revive points and the inconvenience of being pked approaches zero. in safe suburbs with a mall and nearby nt, i can often get a revive in a few hours.
as such, bounty-hunters and pker lists become a waste of ap and real-world time.
