His eyes opened. He looked around. He remembered an explosion, nothing else. His clothes were torn military fatigues. How is he here, what happened? He doesn't remember anything. He looks around. Dead, burning bodies litter the street. All military, all dead. He pulls himself to his feet.
He doesn't know his own name. But he remembers his training. Why is he here? What was happening? As he walked down the street, a girl screamed. He looked towards the sound. Down an alleyway, a teenage girl had her throat ripped open by a hulking man. Not ripped by a knife or a simple piece of glass, but his teeth. He throws the dying body down, and begins walking to the Private. He draws his pistol when the distance is almost touching, and blasts 4 shots into the man's chest. He falls to the ground, dead on impact. Private rushes to the girl.
"Hold on, i know some first aid." He's only trying to comfort her however, because he knows he cannot save her. "My friends....they..rumler..wa..y." Her movements stop, then suddenly she lurches toward him. She nips his neck as he stabs her.
" No one else can have this happen to them. I won't allow it..." He walks off from her dead body, filled with rage. He swears to protect the defenseless. He hopes to find others like him, others who won't rest until peace is brought to Malton.
