Though he was unable to avenge his fallen friend, Alex managed to see the end of both of his killers' career in Malton. Now helping his unnamed military ally and trying to escape the devastation around the Elbow Room bar, Alex has lost much of his joviality. Many questions have been raised by his experiences, and his paranoia has grown strong. In a city gone mad, to survive Alex may have to become even madder.
