Sarpek throws a lever, stopping the automatic fire, and scans the horizon with a pair of binoculars. He spys Axe leaping from roof to roof, and dives for the cannon, cranking it around and dropping the barrel down to aim at Axe, adjusts for projectile drop, sets the stops that define the cannon's field of fire, and re-engages the automatic.
