So, my when my parents called to ask what I want for Christmas, I said an X-Box 360. Strangely, they actually followed through. Yesterday, I received not only a 360, but MK vs. DCU, and $200. I must be dying or something and only they know it.
But anyway, I don't know how to get X-Box Live working. I went out today, bought Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead, a 25 foot ethernet cable, and a router. Altogether, $194.
When I got home, I tried installing the router, but it wouldn't work. It kept saying the router wasn't found. And then I realized I could just plug the ethernet cable into the X-Box and directly into my modem. So, my connection issue has been more or less resolved, although I wasted $50 on that damned router.
But I'm still having some trouble getting X-Box Live working in the games themselves. Although I do have a name and the little avatar dude. So, anyone know what I'm doing wrong? And what's the difference between the Gold and Silver service? Is the Gold service worth paying for?
