"Shit."
Kehllz rolls onto his back, pulling out his Glock. He sends a series of lead into the advancing squad, causing them to scatter. Grabbing the rifle, Kehllz begins to dash across the roof towards the opposite edge. From the side, a SWAT member tackles him into the doorway down the stairs. The two roll down the stairs, battering each other. From his boot, Kehllz manages to draw a knife and shoves it deep into the MPD officers thigh. The officer howls in pain and begins to pummel Kehllz face, who is working the knife up towards the officers groin. Terror crosses the offices face as he realizes one of his major arteries has just been cut. Kehllz manages to disengage and stand. The SWAT member is loosing blood fast, and feet are pounding down the stairway. Kehllz grabs the officers gun and tears off as much ammo as he can and heads down the stairs.
The officers are in hot pursuit. The yell over their radios "We have found the sniper, office building five blocks from hospital, next to the warehouse. Armed and dangerous, I repeat armed and dangerous."
Once Kehllz reaches the lobby, he finds that another squad of officers is waiting there for him. He leaps to the side as they fire at the door. He checks the gun he swiped from the SWAT member. A 9mm of some sort. That plus his Glock .45 leave him at a disadvantage. He runs up the stairs into a second story hallway. He hides in one of the rooms, pistol aimed at the doorway, a desk set up as a barrier.
Kehllz has been in the room for thirty seconds, but it feels like hours. He can hear the police knocking down doors in the hall way. They're slowly working their way towards his. As the door next door kicks in he can hear their voices, speaking into the radios. He can't make out what they're saying. Then, they slam on his door. One hit, two hits, three hits and the door splinters. It swings open and two officers barge into the room. Two quick .45 caliber lead balls put them both out of commision. Kehllz can hear feet pounding dow the hallway. Kehllz moves onto the window sill and looks out, prepping to jump. Shotgun pellets ping off the concrete outside, sending dust up in the air. He wasn't getting out that way.
Two more SWAT members bust in, waving their guns around idiotically. Kehllz hits one dead between the eyes, making his neck snap back. The second shot hits the targets knee. It was a rushed shot because Kehllz had shot while ducking a shotgun blast. It had winged him, causing blood to run down the side of his head. The idiotic officer didn't take the chance to fire again but instead began to cry. Kehllz walked over and smashed his foot against his face just to make him shut up.
Another officer came in. Since he wasn't expecting Kehllz to be so close to the door, when he finally caught site of him, it was too late. Kehllz had already grabbed the mans shotgun and smashed his face in with the butt of his pistol.
Six down, twenty to go. And that was only until reinforcements came. Kehllz prepared for a prolonged shoot out. He could hear them outside, preparing for another assault.
