Um, actually all they did was capitalise upon a fluke convergence of massive zombie forces which consisted of them, the RRF, LUE, Eastonwood Ferals, the CRF and others all smashing their way to Caiger and then smashing their way back out again. Now that the RRF and LUE are gone that red blotch has fragmented and fallen apart.
It was impressive, but don't fall for the 'Extinction Zone' hype. They were a part of it, but without the massive hordes who also showed up the tidal wave of redness would have been no more than a splash in a puddle.
