Ah, the dorms! I can't stand little yappy dogs. I need a dog that can tackle me when I come through the door. But I'm also planning to apply to be an RA wherever I go. I did that senior year of undergrad and it saved me a boatload of money. It's such an easy job- I must have been making $1000/hour.
You're right, I should go to the most competitive school that I get into. I'm basically only looking at top tier schools, since I did fairly well on the LSAT and all that jazz. It's amazing, I can't even count to 10, but I know me some logic. I suppose having a big name behind me would go miles. We'll see where I get in.
As for the applications, they're almost done! I'm working on the optional diversity essay as we speak. I'm trying to find a way to say, "hey, I'm ethnically Cuban and I understand you guys are looking for people like that, so here you go" without sounding like an idiot. I also have a Jewish last name, so we'll see how the whole "soy de Cuba" thing goes.
