the zergs ruined my fun in roftwood and miltown. and the only way to "beat" them is to move someplace else. if roftwood ever gets stable again the locals will clean the place out. but with players numbers dropping. i doubt you will ever have the man power to hold the QSG on your own for long. enjoy the game while it lasts. roll with the punches people. we are still the QSG no matter where we are in malton. True the QSG could move or go on tour. as we have done in the past. A lot of things to do in Malton. It's the people in UD that make it interesting as opposed to other games . There is an almost visceral pleasure in coordinating/cooperating with others over thousands of miles and many languages and beliefs. There can, however, be only one Ron Burgandy, Blackmore ,Quartly library,Caiger Mall, etc. No matter into what paradigms the game evolves .the future is always interesting and a new challenge or legend in the making. I feel that is the fascination of this game ,much like the old D&D games with nothing but a paper, map , a few pencils and our imaginations. (Yep, I used to play back then) A whole gaming Empire evolved from that, but the fun was the imagination and RP with a few rules and an almighty DM (Kevan?) in whose worlds we played.
