The Elbow Room

Noah opens his eyes. His head is reeling and everything around him is blurry but he's able to see more than before he blacked out. He thinks his hearing is messed up due to the constant banging he's hearing. He realizes his hearing is fine and that bullets are tearing through the Elbow Room. He can make out the shape of his shotgun and his pack. He starts crawling across the floor on his belly, going as fast as he can underneath the tables. He grabs his shotgun and slides across the floor to the broken barricades that Axe's crew has blasted down. He slides the top of his head over the 'cades. Outside is a blur of dark shadows and flashes from gun barrels. Noah watches for a gun flash. As soon as he pinpoints one he tracks the dark shadow behind it. He pulls the trigger. The shadow hits the ground. Noah ducks behind the 'cades as the pkers send another series of gunfire his way. This was not going fast enough to do much good.
