That's the count, not counting the lost posts. Cause they're lost. Happy 600 referred to the page number. The elbow room hit 100 not long ago.
The scary thing is that I've seen this post-eating internet demon before. *waits for the gasps to subside* Indeed. Once, I lost a couple of years worth of writings on another website. Clicked to return to the entry list and bango. Empty. probably around 300 posts spanning 5 years.
The even scarier thing is it could always happen again...today, tomorrow, the 999,990th reply...("On a long enough time line, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero."?)
But at least the same thing isn't true of Bush.
