Here's something you don't see too often...
Hello, the name's Dave Raddcliff (No, not the Harry Potter guy!
) and I am currently in good old Vinetown, where the wine flows as free as the urine from thousands of people forced to live without toilets. Also, there's a mall.
When I first joined UD, I was still smarting over my lack of Flash that, in the night, had taken Newgrounds from me with it's absence. I wanderd the desert that is the Grreater Internet, thirsting for the addictive games that, alas, nothing could satisfy. Until I found Urban Dead. It was a rocky road, but I hung tough, and was rewarded day after day, thanks to my membership in the now all-but-dead group, the Blackhawk Nation. When the Dead came, I saw all of that washed away... No one stood and fought, there was no unity in our actions. We fled like rats to the comferts of death. Many never returned. I had seen the core of surrvivordom turn rotten and be comsumed. And I gave up. Plus, I got Flash, so I could go back on Newgrounds.
When I came back, after months of being idle, It was to a changed Malton. Ordinary survivors, once proud and clever, had become balless and dumb. I changed my game, switching to a more contructive stance, building up houses instead of killing zombies- after all, no one else was fighting the zeds, so why should I wadte time taking back territory that the zombies had rightfully taken from us?
I would like to say things have changed, but they have'nt. Vinetown and others like it are falling to ferals, while zombie territory remains unclamed. I would like to contribute towards breaking this cycle of apethy.
