Ok, I'm hearing this is where I get chicks and alcohol. I passed the membership test with flying colors. Then I took it again, but I was feeling tired and hungry that time so I felt drawn to the milk and cookies. Then I retook it and passed again. Further results pending.
Of a few characters I've tried out, I now decided to stick with a private based in Dulston, currently level 2:

I could join with either one of them or both, depending on where you guys currently operate. I just planned to keep them more or less to the area where they are so that I won't be bothered counting city blocks to avoid zerging violations.
BTW, the lab assistant is level one but could buy a science skill. Should I get Lab XP, Diagnosis, or save for free running?
