PRIZ!!!! Two years later and I'm finally seeing this. I feel like I just opened a message in a bottle.

Not sure if you'd remember me, SweetIrony from the Blackmore Bastard Brigade and the Quartly Study Group / Artaxerxes from Malton's Angels, but I definitely remember you.

I'm happy to know I'm not the only one who gets nostalgic for UD. It was a huge part of my life too and I wish we could somehow have a big reunion. I am Facebook friends with a few people, namely Sir Fred, Goolina, Padre Romero, and buddhagazelle. There are so many other people from UD who I remember fondly but I don't even know their real names. It's a weird and sad feeling to think about it, but it brought a smile to my face today to see your name.

I would read the heck out of that history if you ever do write it. And I need to hear the story of how Grippy got Brain Rot! I've recently been combing through my old flash drives and found some Quartly lectures and things that never made it into the Wiki, so I'm trying to finally add them.

Probably not, from the looks of it, but that's ok.

If you're reading this, you maybe remember me, but you might not. My name is Steve, though almost 20 years ago, you would have called me Priz, or some variation of that, and I had the absolute honor of being one of the first 20 or so members of the NMC.

I also had the honor of being involved in basically everything that ever went on in the Alliance. When I first joined up, I was literally a kid, but the older guys like Major Grippy and Ron were incredibly inclusive. In fact, Purgatory here was created specifically for myself and Ian to have somewhere to spam the absolute shit out of things without getting in the way of the adults, lmfao.

I led some factions here and there (including a PK group, which is maybe what you'll remember me from), and, for a brief while while DHG was the face of the NMC, I even got a turn at running the entire show from behind the scenes (though I was not at all good at it).

I was quick on the move to Nexus Wars, and got to play the role of St. Germaine himself, someone Grippy and I came up with while we were drinking one night. And speaking of Grippy, I'm the reason his character has brain rot.

For a long time, I've debated coming back here and writing a little history. I even started to do so a few years ago. This place was a huge part of my life when I was a kid, and I think the community here, as well as some of the awesome people in it, will always stick in my memory.
