I just scouted Neal Cinema and saw to my great alarm that about 20 Prudence Pussies are sitting in there. I'm assuming they're here for us so we may want to consider striking first.

So here's a thought. How about a wikipage on UDWiki to honor Winka? Of course, this wouldn't qualify to be on the main space, so you'll have to put it under a group's subpage. Since the Rangers are hosting Winka's memorial, I'd say make a wikipage dedicated to Winka in either the Malton Rangers' namespace or NMC's namespace. That's a great idea. I don't know that much about the wiki, so it would be cool if someone else could make the page. Otherwise, I'll figure it out. We could direct people to post their tributes there as well as here and in Quartly on Friday. I could forward the URL to her family, although I'm not sure they know quite what to make of UD. I could do the wiki stuff, but I wouldn't know what to write. If someone else makes the text, I can put it on the wiki all pretty. |

The memorial is inevitably going to attract griefers, and we'll just have to deal with it best as we can. I recommend keeping the focus on remembering winka and not giving the griefers any more attention than necessary. Though we will need to kill and dump them just to shut them up, probably. That's life in Malton. Hopefully winka is looking down and laughing at the antics.  |

I'm not stating anything new here but reading over some of these threads both made me feel unlearned and somewhat saddened by the intelectual demise of the forum. There is no demise ....Thank goodness ..someone has been wise enough to leave all this wonderful creativeness for us to enjoy and aspire to....learn from... Just as I look forward to more .... There are always people who amaze me with their wit and talent and are happy to let us share some of it. That is the fascination of UD and this forum for me. The perimeters are scant but the talent is large..... And you never know when you will run in to a great laugh or adventure. well said. |
