That falls under "narrow-minded", cuz if the zombies aren't conspiring against us, then what could be screwing up everything we do?

I don't like the phrase narrow minded.

Well, I'm sure Jorm will show up to tell us exactly what we are. I think it's about time, us NMC peeps have been getting complacent and arrogant recently.
Or something.

Well, I never saw the original request for the event. Like I said, I never see the wikinews template, so I had no idea that it was even being voted on. I'm not even sure how I came across the page in the first place.
Neither Karek or Sonny speak for the MOB (I don't even know if they even have MOBsters); it would be inappropriate for MJS to speak for two hordes instead of one. Regardless, none of them are MOB officers.
I'm not bitter; far from it. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool, foul-mouthed hillbilly filled with piss and vinegar and speak plainly and abruptly. I believe that truth tells, and I don't lie.
I'm not sure how these two concepts are in opposition. I think that you'll find that the ONLY thing I said that could be construed as being "side-ist" is "The article needs to be rewritten to not be so survivor trenchie centric." The rest of it is all either people putting words into my mouth or reading something that isn't there - or finding myself slagged here.
My complaint is and has been that the article's tone - particularly it's pro-survivor, recruitment oriented slant - is not appropriate for an "official" stamp. That's all. Nothing less, nothing more. Perhaps people are jumping too much on the words "or deleted". Who knows? That was included for completion of options (I'm an engineer; that's what we do: list all options).
As far as not coming here first, well. I wasn't aware that I needed the permission of the NMC to make wiki edits or to discuss wiki policy.

Well, I never saw the original request for the event. Like I said, I never see the wikinews template, so I had no idea that it was even being voted on. I'm not even sure how I came across the page in the first place. Gotcha. So if you had seen it, you would have brought up the concern that the article is not appropriate for the gravity of the event? (or you know, whatever) Neither Karek or Sonny speak for the MOB (I don't even know if they even have MOBsters); it would be inappropriate for MJS to speak for two hordes instead of one. Regardless, none of them are MOB officers. Aight, fair enough. My complaint is and has been that the article's tone - particularly it's pro-survivor, recruitment oriented slant - is not appropriate for an "official" stamp. That's all. Nothing less, nothing more. I agree. However, you ran into a lot of emotions, from sadness that Ron is gone to laugher that a wiki for a game has to be serious. Some people would have backed off and tried to compromise at that point, and others would have pushed on with their original request. I don't know which is right. As far as not coming here first, well. I wasn't aware that I needed the permission of the NMC to make wiki edits or to discuss wiki policy. Of course not. I just feel that it would have been the nice/polite thing to do. This concerns us, and maybe we could've worked something out before going through the official channels of the wiki. That's what I'm saying, not that you needed our 'permission' or anything. EDIT: My post about you telling us what we are was perfectly serious, though sometimes that's hard to tell with me.

Yes, I already got on Jorm for saying useless things in this discussion, and now my own Leader? Oh geez. . Anyway, it's not entirely your fault people have gotten riled up, it's also some of the other stuff people have been saying. One example is WanYao, running at the mouth, constantly. Another would be Sonny comparing it to the Nazis. Heh, that got a few tempers going. In all honestly, were all to blame for how out of hand it has gotten. And now, we have straight up BS things happening. I just had to remove a multivote that someone made because Kamden pissed him off.

Gotcha. So if you had seen it, you would have brought up the concern that the article is not appropriate for the gravity of the event? (or you know, whatever) Indeed. Well, like I believe I said (like, a million times), the content can (should) be saved to a sub page of C4NT or something like that. I don't know where the "serious" thing comes from; I'm rarely serious about anything like this (I've got real things to be serious about). In fact, the only thing I've taken seriously in the past 36 hours is trying to figure how to make my cat feel less lonely. Given the reception I *always* get here (ranging from attacks on my personal life to people randomly threatening to come and "kick my ass" because they got banned from barhah.com), I think you can understand why that option was discarded.

I just re-removed that same vote, and he added yet ANOTHER vote as a sockpuppet. So I think you have a zerger, dude. That's ya'll's thing, though. I don't know who this WanYao guy is, but he certainly doesn't speak for me - and in fact, I smacked him on the mouth for attacking Wulfgar.

If it came out like I was saying wanyao spoke for you, I'm sorry. What was meant to be perceived was "Dude needs to shut the fuck up. Fast."

Ha, fething Harrison. I hope you can get your cat to purr and hang out in your lap or something... Wan Yao or whatever his name is should really get his katana taken away already. Um...that's about-oh, Jorm, whatcha gonna do if this doesn't pass?
